Pricing for Etsy vs Website vs Wholesale
Different sales channels have different fees and expectations. Learn how PPS v1.3.0 Sales Outlets model those differences so your recommended prices stay profitable after fees.
Same product. Different channels. Different economics.
Website, Etsy, Amazon, wholesale, retail — each channel has different fees and expectations. Sales Outlets (v1.3.0) let PPS model those differences so you charge the right price for each channel.
Stop “one-price-for-everywhere”
Platform fees can quietly destroy margin. PPS helps you set channel-appropriate pricing without guesswork.
Outlet defaults
Each outlet can store default packaging, target margin, and fee settings so pricing is fast and consistent.
Instant comparison
Switch outlets on the Product Pricing page to see recommended price, contribution margin, and break-even update immediately.

How Sales Outlets change pricing behavior
PPS uses passive defaults so outlet selection fills key fields without taking control away from you.
Auto-fill and manual override
- Selecting an outlet enables auto-fill for Packaging, Store / Platform Fees (when Outlet Fees (Advanced) is enabled), and Target Margin.
- If you manually change Target Margin, PPS treats it as a manual override until you change outlets again.
- This prevents accidental overwrites while still allowing fast channel comparisons.
Tip: Set “Website” as your default outlet if you want it preselected each time you open pricing.
Price one product across multiple channels
Do this when you want to compare profitability without re-entering numbers.
1) Load the product
Choose your product on the Product Pricing page, then use “Reload From Product Inventory” to pull the latest product totals.
2) Select outlet #1
Pick “Website” and note recommended price, contribution margin, and break-even units.
3) Switch to outlet #2
Pick “Etsy” and watch fees and recommended price change automatically. Same product — priced for a different channel.

Set up your real selling channels and use outlet switching to keep pricing accurate after fees.
